Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I write about books, food, wine and travel.

Come hang out with me.

Travelling with Books

Travelling with Books

This morning I decided to tackle the ridiculous task of deciding which (and how many) books I should take with me on vacation next week. Clearly I cannot go anywhere without a stack of trusty books, and I have many, MANY hours of flying to entertain myself during.

Except. EXCEPT. I also know me, which means I will inevitably find a bookstore in my travels and will want to buy books there too (because overseas different book covers are my weakness). So I can’t take tooooo many books or I will have a 93 pound suitcase.

And of course, I am going to be in a stunning new country, with so much to see. And so much wine to drink. And so much food to sample. Not to mention shopping! Shopping is key! So also, not too many books because I only have so much reading time really. I can’t spend a vacation with my loved ones buried in a book when its all about spending time and making memories together.

But of course - SOME BOOKS because bookstagram opportunities ABOUND. Who could pass up the chance to take beautiful book pictures in a new country?

As you can see, I’m really good at this.

QOTD: How do you sort out how many books to travel with? Tips PLEASE!

Happy #socksunday ya’ll!
