Today was an awesome day of reading, followed by a coffee date with my bestie at the bookstore. And a rare display of adult best behaviour - I only bought the ONE book. That is called RESTRAINT. 😂
I specifically chose this book because I did need a good motivational-esq read for my ongoing one-a-month personal development reads goal. This mix of self-care + humour seemed like the obvious win for me. I’m pretty excited to dive in, as is Vinny - or at least he’s motivated to get the treats promised to him for posing nicely. 🐶
Alright friends! Back to my weekend of restfulness. I truly am learning to appreciate these rare windows of quiet downtime in my life - my schedule can get pretty crazy, and truthfully it’s these little pockets of time that keep me balanced and grounded when things are nonstop. A good book and a cuddle go a long way to creating the perfect night.

One of my go-to tips is to always have a little bottle of lavender essential oil spray with me - when I need to level out, a spritz of that scent will help chill me right out.
