Books I’ve Been Impatiently Awaiting: How To Hold A Grudge by @sophiehannahwriter 😂📚

So one day last year I was being productive and scrolling through Twitter, as you do when you are supposed to be working, when I stumbled on Sophie talking about grudges. Which I enjoyed immediately because I LOOOOVE a good grudge (guys, don’t hate on me here - I am wildly stubborn, I’m a Scorpio/Sag cusp, I’m a natural redhead....I have moods ok? It’s FINE.) The conversation evolved into this idea that Sophie would write a book about grudges to be released at the beginning of 2019. And of course I was ALL IN for this. I’m a huge fan of Sophie’s work as a rule, so I had no doubt I was going to love a book that was basically permission to be a permanent grudge holder.

I pre-ordered it immediately, because what better way to start a new year than with a book on grudges?! (This is not sarcastic. This is legit enthusiasm.) This is saying alot off the get go, because I am not a person who pre-orders books. I always just buy them when they land, partly because I’m convinced I’ll forget I ordered it and buy it again, or not get it, or some other irrational fear.

But this one, this one I was willing to break that rule for, because even if I ended up with three copies, I would just gift this out to everyone I have ever met (which I will still do). AND NOW ITS HERE. So my Saturday will be spent with my new-favourite book, giggling and thoroughly enjoying myself. Quite frankly, these are the books that I am HERE FOR in 2019. Not to mention, Sophie added a grudge section to her website and will be chatting about them in a podcast this year. So YASSS GIRL. 😂

Y’all stand by for a full review. It’s gonna be good, obviously. 😘

QOTD: Do you hold grudges? Or are you quick to forgive and forget? I’m a very forgiving person....sometimes. 😂 But if you eat the last piece of my chocolate stash and don’t tell me, I am NOT GOING TO FORGET THAT.

Happy Saturday y’all! May your coffees be full and your grudges strong. 😉
