All Men are Assholes (and All Women are Crazy) by Jordan West
Despite the title, this is a completely honest, raw and sometimes brutally transparent reflection on the author's dating life over the years, sharing the ups and the downs (mostly downs, let's be honest). Jordan West pulls no punches on demonstrating all the reasons her relationships haven't worked, including all her own faults in enabling bad relationships to continue.
Jordan manages this recounting in a way that is both articulate and often funny, as she moves through some of the most impactful partners she has had since her first boyfriend in junior high.
Honestly, while this book won't be for everyone, this book will most certainly resonate with any woman who has faced her own dating demons. The way Jordan shares this piece of her life feels a bit like permission to the reader to be a little more honest about all those reasons your own relationships maybe didn't play out the way you wanted/expected/hoped. Which is to say, you feel like you are not alone in the big bad world of dating and trying to find Mr. or Mrs. Right.
Quick, easy to read and relatable, this is a book that will be enjoyed over many a glass of wine for many women to come.
