September To-Read Pile
It’s a rainy, cold Saturday morning, on my long weekend, but I’m not mad about it because it means I can spend the day in a pile of pets, blankets and reading socks, diving into my September reading pile.
Thank you to all the tagged publishers for these awesome reads. I can barely decide where to start. 😊
I am really excited to be continuing down a path of completely diversifying my to read pile - I can be so bad for having nothing but mystery thrillers lined up to read, but truthfully, as much as I adore a good whodunnit, reading nothing but one genre sometimes leaves me bored and guessing the end of books well before I am finished reading. I have found that by shaking things up and throwing in lots of other genres, it means that when I get back to my go-to-mysteries I find them far more satisfying.
Which is why my September reads pile is PERFECT for me - a mix of mysteries, memoir, self help and contemporary fiction. Something for every mood, and a pile that will no doubt keep me on my toes all month long.
Its also helping that we are slamming into autumn at full speed here - we have been under a cold ridge of weather, and it doesn't look like summer is going to be making a comeback anytime soon. While I am a little sad for the end of summer to have been so abrupt, it does inspire me to get cozy and get reading, so I will call that the silver lining and get right to it!
QOTD: What’s your most anticipated September read?
Happy Saturday y’all! 💙
