Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I write about books, food, wine and my pets.  Come hang out with me.

Bookworm Problems: The Lost TBR

Bookworm Problems: The Lost TBR

Bookworm Problems: when you kind of forget what books you have hidden away in your #tbrstack - and then you embark on some bookish organizing and find ALL THESE AWESOME BOOKS. πŸŽƒπŸ˜‚

One of my book crates was dangerously close to toppling with unread books. Rather than being logical and just reading some of them and then moving them to a permanent bookshelf home, I very responsibly just bought another crate to transfer half into. This has solved two problems - the toppling pile has become two crates with more room for books, and also, I think it balances out my living room better from an aesthetic perspective. πŸ˜‚

BUT, the REAL silver lining, while organizing my pile I realized I have piles of perfectly seasonal thriller type reads hanging around, which means every day for the next week I can stay in a spooky-read frame of mind. So basically, I have won bookworm Halloween. πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ

Therefore I will spend as much of this cool, breezy Sunday here in my fave @peonyandmoss socks (CANDICE10 to get a discount if you too want to live in cozy socks), with my very awesome Halloween mug from @booksandchinooks (😘), reading books that will probably have me up half the night (perfectly responsible Sunday night decision making). πŸŽƒ

QOTD: (Really to make myself feel better) PLEASE tell me you guys sometimes lose track of your to-read piles and I’m not the only one who buys books and then promptly stacks 10 other books on top of them? (So bad. MUST READ THESE) πŸŽƒ

Happy #socksunday Y’all! πŸŽƒ
