Sock Sunday & Book Chats!
The only thing better than a #socksunday is one where you get to chat with all your book besties about really, really great books! 📚☕️
Today at 2:00 pm CST you can pop over to @criminallygoodbookclub to chat about The Lost Man by the ever wonderful @janeharperauthor (which I’m furiously trying to finish in time - but bless them for leaving chat threads open for us stragglers). 📚☕️
And then at 4:00 pm CST y’all need to come over to @saltwaterreads where we are chatting about the magnificent A Woman is No Man by the equally magnificent @etafrum - and which promises to be an incredible discussion. 📚☕️
And THEN somewhere between now and midnight, come hell or high water, I’ll finish my March #unreadshelfproject2019 book, The Rule of Stephens, which I would like to preemptively announce, is a PHENOMENAL balance of suspense and sci fi and quite frankly I’m baffled at HOW this stayed on my unread shelf so long. 📚☕️
Some might say this is a lot of book-related activity for one day. But I would say this is the perfect kind of bookish day for me! I’m a little crazy, I just can’t get enough of chatting with y’all, it’s too much fun!! 📚☕️
QOTD: What is your all-time favourite thing (book-related or not) about Sunday’s? My very favourite thing is the intricately lazy vibe a Sunday is pre-programmed with. You can be as productive or sloth like as you please, and on Sundays it’s totally acceptable. And sometimes I need that unspoken permission to just BE. 📚☕️
Happy Sunday y’all! I’ll see you in all the chats later!
