Book Recommendations Become Must Reads
When your good friend @whatmeganreads recommends a book, you sometimes have to immediately sneak to a book store to get it. 😘
Today Megan posted about this book on her IG page. It sounded so good, I loved the passion she had describing the town of Three Pines, and the fact that it sounded like a story that you could get lost in. I have been needing stories like that in my life lately, so I did the logical thing. I took a “coffee break” in the middle of my workday morning and took a brisk walk the 3 blocks to the nearest local book store (YAY Audrey’s Books if you are in Edmonton!) - where I instantly got a copy.
I am really excited for this one - not only because Louise is a Canadian author, and it can be so fun seeing our country featured in stories. I know these places she writes about (or some of them), and so it helps me feel like I am right IN the story. That is the best reading escape, I swear.
Now. I should be saving this for vacation - but I don’t think I can wait that long. 💙
QOTD: What was the last great book recommendation you got? 💙
Happy humpday friends! Over the halfway mark now! 😀
