Fact: I donโ€™t love being up at 6:30 am on a Saturday. But if Iโ€™m going to be up, I may as well enjoy the quiet, peaceful morning hours and get productive. ๐Ÿ““

This morning I spent some time getting my fall release schedule together - including this new one (thank you @crookedlanebooks for the copy!!!) that will be the PERFECT compliment to the one magazine I never fail to buy - the @voguemagazine September Issue.

Also - how CUTE is this lipstick pen?! Iโ€™m completely obsessed with it. ๐Ÿ’„โค๏ธ

I find that at this point in the summer I can be feeling somewhat overwhelmed - if feels like there is still SO MUCH to do while the weather is nice and I can be outside, but at the same time, I'm beginning to think forward to the fall, and I'm setting goals and figuring out how I want to round out my year.  Not to mention, work starts to ramp back up with everyone back from summer holidays, making for the perfect storm of too much activity and too little time.

I've said before that I am a die hard physical writer-outer of all my schedules.  I am always at risk of double booking or over committing myself if I depend solely on my electronic calendar.  So with getting my fall schedule together, and with so many amazing books coming out (and me not wanting to not give one single author anything less than my full passion and support in promoting their work) I have stepped up my scheduling game for fall.

Now not only do I have a running (written) list of all the books on my to-read organized by month, I've also slotted them out into my day planner on the release dates, along with reminders several days and a week out in advance so I can be sure I'm tracking to finish the book and to have my posts written and ready to publish.  To compliment that, I have created a spreadsheet to ensure that anything I am reading for an author or publisher is being tracked clearly from receipt of book, to publication of reviews, ensuring that I meet all of my commitments on time.

It may seem like alot, but it makes me feel far more prepared, and that is a feeling I savor even more with changing seasons.  There are just so many amazing books out in the world, every time I get a recommendation, I want to ensure I don't lose track of it.....or I could be missing out on my next fave read!

Anyone with tips and tricks on how to stay organzied, PLEASE SHARE YOUR WISDOM! I am always looking to get better!

Happy Saturday! ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’™
