Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I write about books, food, wine and travel.

Come hang out with me.

Book Sleeves Made With Love

Book Sleeves Made With Love

Might we talk about how GORGEOUS this book cover truly is?! One million thanks to my lovely friend Margaux, at @bookartbookmarks for pointing me in the direction of Carolyn at @sewhappystitchhappy who created this marvelous thing.

Both of these amazing souls are small business owners and you should without question go check out their insta feeds and their Etsy shops. So many bookish delights to be had, while supporting our bookstagram friends. If you have a cool shop on your radar, then SHARE THE LOVE PEEPS - I have an addiction to book goods to feed.

Yes - I bought this sleeve approximately 3 weeks after buying several other sleeves, and no, I don't feel bad about it.  Much in the same way I like to choose my books by mood, I sometimes want to choose my bookmark and book sleeve based on my mood, what I am reading and when I am reading it.  Honestly, I like the idea of matching my books up with different accessories - plus, it makes taking beautiful pictures incredibly simple.

Not to mention - my complete adoration for the peacock.  If there is another bird more fabulous, I haven't found it yet.  On days when I need that extra boost of confidence, I like to channel my inner peacock and remember that they know how to STRUT. And this week, I need a bit of that, because I don't know about you guys, but this week is working hard to kick my ass.

So I peacock.

Now. If anyone needs me, I’ll just be over here building a new shelf to house all my reading accessories on.

Happy Tuesday!!!!
